About Chef Ben Liquet

 
 

Ben Liquet was born and raised

in New York City and was first

introduced to the culinary arts

at the age of 5. As a child he

watched his mother prepare

traditional Puerto Rican and

Italian dishes from scratch.

Ben eventually became the

family cook, using his kitchen

as his own testing grounds and

his family as the recipe tasters.

This method of life and study helped Ben hone his culinary skills into what they are today.


Ben is especially adept at cooking seasonal and fresh ingredients. He was trained at the Institute of Culinary Education where he learned how to enhance the natural flavor of his ingredients to truly make them shine. He likes simple dishes that are packed full of flavor. Always maintaining the integrity of the ingredients. But, do not think that simple is not adventurous! Chef Ben is known to be quite creative, mixing multiple flavor profiles into a beautiful symphony of textures, scents, and layers of intense flavors, winning over even the most limited of palates.
